Class September 4th: Research on Passive Amp Project

What we did in class today:

In the beginning of class we did a fun and insightful exercise  that involved each table getting 5 minutes to pick one invention they believed had the largest impact and was most important over the course of human history. Then, during that time we had to discuss the most effective way to "pitch" it to the class. We then had one minute to convince Mr. Neale and the rest of the class that our invention was the most essential and impactful. Some of the inventions named were the wheel, water containers, and computer circuitry. We found that having a striking, impactful beginning that really grabbed someone's attention was really important.

Went over the Rubric system for this project.
-The differences between a 1, 2, 3, and 4.

Examined and evaluated different materials available to us (acrylic, woods, etc)
-Aesthetics, workability, practicality

Examined and evaluated past designs (including successful ones and fails)
-What went wrong, designs specific to certain phones, things to learn.

Began research on what we need to know to do this project.
-Most important things we need to know, using reliable sources.
