The Tools for Making an Amp

Today was a fun one, as we got to see some of the tools we would use when fabricating the amp. We first started with the lazer cutter, where we cut small pieces we would later use to bend.



We then used power tools like power saws and drills, to learn to manipulate wood with things like, screw two pieces of wood together, or cut shapes out of thick plywood.



Finally, the lazer cutters were done cutting the pieces and we started to play around with acrylic.
We used a special machine to bend acrylic in a straight line, or used a oven to make crazy shapes like a tube.
